As a community foundation, The Seattle Foundation has an obligation to the community and our donors to ensure that grant funds are spent responsibly. In a effort to inform our grantmaking and evaluate our investment in the community, The Seattle Foundation requires grant recipients to complete the following:
- Within 30 days, the recipient organization must send a letter confirming receipt of funds and an explanation of how funds will be used.
- Within 12 months, a final report explaining how funds were used is due to the foundation. We ask for candid reflective concise responses and are equally interested in hearing about your successes, as well as your challenges, difficulties and even failures. The report form will be mailed when a grant is made but is also available below.
- Please contact The Seattle Foundation if any of the funds cannot be used for the purpose requested.
Please complete the form and e-mail it to grantmaking@seattlefoundation.org.
Please refer to your original grant letter for the date the report is due. If you have any questions, please contact the Foundation at grantmaking@seattlefoundation.org or by phone at (206) 622-2294. |
