Family Philanthropy

The Seattle Foundation can help you involve your children and grandchildren in family philanthropy by working with you to engage family members and by working one-on-one with your kids, whether they are 16 or 55. Our donor services representatives understand that families often want to give together, but that this can sometimes be challenging. Different personalities, interests and priorities can cause roadblocks. Our staff has experience and training in helping you explore what you are trying to accomplish in involving your family, and coming up with a plan to make it successful.

The Seattle Foundation hosts a range of events and produces workbooks and guides for you to engage your family. Our materials include handbooks designed for both individuals and families including Giving with a Mission or Growing Up Giving.
