Cherlyn stewards planned gifts through ongoing relationships during the lifetime of the donors and beneficiaries. She works with nonprofit organizations to ensure the donors’ intent is fulfilled and organizes outreach and educational opportunities for professional advisers.
Cherlyn came to the Foundation after 31 years with U.S. WEST/Qwest Communications, retiring as an Administrative Manager in Global Sales-Engineering. During her career, she worked in several areas such as Marketing, Public Policy, Advertising and Community Relations both internally and externally.
Participating on community relations teams specifically inspired Cherlyn to come to Seattle Foundation.
Cherlyn has been working at Seattle Foundation since 2003.
