Madeliene supports the Community Programs team in developing internal systems to ensure the team has the tools they need to best serve the community through its grantmaking, convening and leadership efforts.

Madeliene joined the Community Programs team after over five years of working in the youth development sector, designing and implementing community programs. Prior to coming to Seattle Foundation, Madeliene was the SUN Community Schools Program Manager at El Programa Hispano Catolico in Portland, OR and was a Team Leader in Granada, Nicaragua with Soccer Without Borders. Through this work, she led teams in creating more equitable and accessible social services for Latino students and families so they could be successful in academia and in life. Madeliene is an Americorps alumna and attended University of Puget Sound, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with an emphasis of writing, rhetoric and culture.

Madeliene has been working at Seattle Foundation since 2017.
