Seattle Foundation Welcomes New Trustee to Board

Asha Sharma of Porch joins Seattle Foundation Board of Trustees

Effective June 2017, Asha Sharma will join Seattle Foundation’s Board of Trustees.

She is Chief Operating Officer and Director at Porch, where she has also served as Chief Marketing Officer, Vice President of Marketing and Sales and Interim Head of Engineering.

Since graduating from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management with a bachelor's degree in business, Sharma has been honored on the Forbes 30 under 30 list, LinkedIn Next Wave Top Professionals under 35 and Puget Sound Business Journal’s 40 under 40.

“We are delighted to welcome Asha to Seattle Foundation’s Board of Trustees. Her diverse knowledge and experience, passion for social impact, and business acumen will be an excellent addition to our board," said Fraser Black, chairman of the Foundation's board. "Asha embodies the great potential Seattle Foundation has to positively impact our region. We are fortunate to have her at the table, and I have no doubt she will bring incredible energy and strategic thinking to the organization.”

Sharma also brings to Seattle Foundation her experience from working at Microsoft, Deloitte Consulting and SC Johnson.
